Click below to watch me play a Legacy League with Grixis Phoenix in Legacy! Can we count to three? Let's find out!

SPOILER ALERT! (and decklist after)

Some weird things happen this league. At a few points, the games weren't representative of how things “should” play out, in a perfect world.

Min and I decided that we're not going to show you “curated” leagues.

Some leagues run smoothly. Some don't. Sometimes we make silly misplays that cost us the match. Sometimes our opponents do the same.

When you see a Magic video here on MinMax Blog, it might be a 5-0, or it might not even have a positive record. We believe, to accurately portray us playing a deck, it's not fair to just select leagues where things work as intended, because that's not authentic.

Losing is a part of Magic, and we're not going to hide our misplays or losses. Besides, you can usually learn a lot more from losing than from winning.

By the way, this Grixis Phoenix league went quite a bit better than the above proclamation would imply, but I figure it can't hurt to share our philosophy.
